Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning of rain, thundershower and lightning for seven districts of Odisha by 4 pm on Saturday.
Warning was also issued for state capital Bhubaneswar and the millennium city of Cuttack in the next three hours.
Issuing yellow warning, the MeT Centre here said that light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning likely to affect some parts of districts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts within next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
