Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday ordered
cancellation of Saturday and Sunday holidays of the field officers of
agriculture and revenue departments working in 15 rain-hit districts
of the state.
Reviewing the rain situation in the state, the chief minister directed the
officers to conduct spot visit, assess the situation and submit
reports to the concerned district collectors.
He enquired about the latest situation and asked the officers to take
all steps for prevention crop loss and stay alert.
