Rain May Continue In Bhubaneswar & 15 Odisha Dists For Another 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Rain may continue to lash Bhubaneswar and several other districts in Odisha till 1 pm on Wednesday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning of light to moderate rain for Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Boudh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Angul, Balasore, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj for 3 hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and act accordingly.

The weather agency had earlier predicted light rain at one or two places in Puri, Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nabarangpur on December 25.

Meanwhile, the well marked low pressure area persisted over Southwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu coasts. It is likely to move west-southwestwards and weaken gradually into a low pressure area over the same region during the next 24 hours.
