Rain May Continue In Odisha For 48 Hours; Night Temp To Drop By 2-4°C After 3 Days

Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Odisha is likely to fall by 2-4°C after 3 days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.

The weather agency further stated that some districts in the same may experience light rain during the next 48 hours under the influence of a low-pressure area, which persists ver southwest & adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu & adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts.

It has forecast light rain or thunderstorm at one or two places in Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri districts on November 12  and in Koraput and Malkangiri districts on November 13.

Thereafter, dry weather may prevail across the state till November 18, it added.

In the last 24 hours, the lowest minimum temperature of 13.6°C was recorded in G Udayagiri followed by 15.5°C in Darinbadi and 16 °C at Phulbani.
