Bhubaneswar: Several districts of north Odisha received rainfall in the last 24 hours, as forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In Sundargarh district, Baragaon recorded 45.6 mm rainfall, followed by Rajgangpur (33.4 mm), Lathikata (32 mm) and Mandira Dam (32 mm).
Laikera, Deogaon and Kirmara recorded 44 mm, 38 mm and 43.2 mm rainfall respectively in Jharsuguda district.
In Keonjhar, Champua recorded 38.4 mm rainfall. Betnoti in Mayurbhanj recorded 38 mm rainfall.
Most places in Odisha recorded warmer nights on Friday as the minimum temperature increased in most places because of rains caused by an Western Disturbance over several districts.
Koraput and Keonjhar recorded the lowest night temperature of 14 degrees Celsius.
