Bhubaneswar: Rain will continue to lash the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack till 4.30 pm, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its nowcast warning on Monday.
According to the MeT office, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Deogarh, Bhadrak, Balasore and Keonjhar during the next 3 hours. People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
