Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder and lightning is likely to lash at least 12 districts of Odisha on Monday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 7.05 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Baleshwar, Sundaragada, Sambalpur, Bargd, Sonpur, Debagada, Malkangiri, Anugola, Jharsuguda and Boudhagada during next three hours.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in these districts during the period.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
