Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with Lightning and thunderstorm is likely to lash at least 13 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar city, on Thursday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 4.10 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Baleshwar, Kendujhar, Sambalpur, Sundaragada, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Deogad, Anugola, and Kendrapada districts for the next three hours. Rain, Lightning and thunderstorm may lash these districts during the period.
In another message, the weather agency issued similar warnings for Kataka, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak, and Jagatsinghpur during the same period.
