Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder, lightning and gusty wind is likely to lash several districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar city, on Wednesday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in nowcast warnings.
Issuing a yellow warning, the IMD said light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning with gusty wind 30-40 kmph is likely to continue at some places in Bhubaneswar for next one to two hours.
Yellow alert was also sounded for Khordha, Puri, Anugola and Baragada districts for the afternoon.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and take safety measures accordingly.
