Bhubaneswar: Rain together with lightning and thunderstorm is likely to lash Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities on Monday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 7.10 pm, the IMD sounded an orange warning for the two cities. Moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain may occur in both cities during the next three hours, it said.
People have been advised to stay updated with official weather forecasts and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall.
