Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder and lightning is likely to lash at least 21 districts of Odisha on Thursday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 1.50 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Balangir, Sonpur, Jharsuguda, Nayagada, Bhadrak, Nuapada, Baragada, Boudh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Anugola, Kandhamala, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kataka, Khordha, Ganjam and Nabarangpur during next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
