Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely to lash at least 17 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar city, in next three hours on Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in separate nowcast warnings.
In a message issued at 1020 am, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Puri and Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city) during next three hours. light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in these districts during the period.
In another message issued at 1010 am, the weather agency issued a yellow warning for Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Anugola, Debagada, Sundaragada, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Baragada, Balangir, Sonpur, and Nuapada for next three hours.
