Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder, lightning and gusty winds is likely to lash at least ten districts of Odisha in next three hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning on Wednesday morning.
Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities are also expected to be affected by the weather conditions.
In a message issued at 10.05 am, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Jagatsinghpur. Kandhamala, Nayagada, Balangir, Nuapada, Sonpur, Boudh, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Kataka (including Kataka city) and Puri districts for next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
