Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 15 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 3.10 pm on Monday.
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty wind may occur at one or two places in the districts of Angul, Deogarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Balasore, Mayurbahnj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Jajpur, Puri and Dhenkanal.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
