Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department on Friday predicted light to moderate rain and thunderstorm with lightning in different parts of Odisha for the next few days.
In the next three hours (till 6 pm), the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Bargarh are likely to experience moderate rain with thundershower and lightning.
Thunderstorm with lightning warning has also been issued for the districts of Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Balangir, Sonepur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Deogarh till October 2 morning. However, there no warning for October 2-3.
From October 3 to 4, the IMD has predicted thunder with lightning in the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak.
The capital city will have a partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain/thunderstorm. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 34 degree Celsius.
