Bhubaneswar: Even as the southwest monsoon has been subdued over Odisha, several areas in 12 districts are likely to experience light to moderate rain and thundershower during the next 24 hours.
Due to prevalent monsoon trough and cyclonic circulation, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places in 12 Odisha districts, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.
In its mid-day bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that the cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh now lies over northeast Bihar and neighbourhood and extends up to 7.6 Km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.
The sky is likely to remain partly cloudy with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm in Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood during the next 24 hours.

Day 1 (Valid up to 8.30 am of 10.08.2023)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Day 2 (From 8.30 am of 10.08.2023 to 8.30 am of 11.08.2023)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Keonjhar Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Day 3 (From 8.30 am of 11.08.2023 to 8.30 amof 12.08.2023)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
