Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall activities till February 28, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said on Saturday.
In its mid-day bulletin, the MeT Centre said that minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at some places over coastal Odisha and at one or two places over north interior region.
No major change is likely in the minimum (night) temperature at many places of the state during next four to five days.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 16.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
As per the weather forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the north coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Nayagarh, Khurda, and Puri districts by Monday morning.
Sunday: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of north Odisha, and south coastal parts.
Monday: Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Balangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, and Sundargarh. Dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest of Odisha.
Tuesday: Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
