Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain at some parts in nine districts of Odisha in the next 3 hours.
This weather condition will prevail in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagastsinghpur, Cuttack and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) till 5 pm on Saturday.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
