Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of 18 districts of Odisha till 8.30 pm on Wednesday.
This weather condition will prevail in Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Balasore, Keonjhar, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Dhenkanal for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
