Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning of light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning at some places in 12 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 3 pm on Monday.
The districts that are likely to be affected are Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kendrapada, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadark, Gajapati, Rayagada, Angul and Dhenkanal. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
