Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued thunderstorm warning for four districts of Odisha.
According to a bulletin issued in this regard, latest weather Doppler radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied by lighting and moderate rain is likely to occur at Keonjhar, Balasore, Cuttack, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri and Nayagarh districts by 12:45 pm.
Residents at these places have been advised to either stay indoors or shift to safe locations, if such weather conditions prevail.
