Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 19 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 4.15 pm on Wednesday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely in some parts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri, Dhenkenal, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda and Cuttack in 3 hours. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
