Bhubaneswar: Amid rain and thunderstorm warning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday said that the day temperature at many places in Odisha is likely to drop by 2-3 degree Celsius after three days.
Thunderstorm and lightning warning has been issued for 3 days from March 15. Gusty surface wind reaching 40-50kmph is also likely during this period. Similarly, several places in the state may also experience light to moderate rain between March 15 and March 17.
Notably, Malkangiri and Boudh recorded the highest maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius on Sunday followed by Sonepur (37.9), Angul (37.7), Bhubaneswar (37.6), Sambalpur (37.5), Jharsuguda (37.4) and Balangir, Titlagarh and Cuttack at 37 degree Celsius each.
