Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Sunday issued a nowcast warning for 15 districts of Odisha till 4.30 pm.
Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (Cuttack city), Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Puri , Balasore, Nayagarah, Angul, Deogarah, Nuapada, Balangir, Baragarah, Kandhamal and Sambalpur during the next three hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
