Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Sunday issued a nowcast warning for 15 districts of Odisha till 5 pm.
Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (Cuttack city), Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal , Balangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, Puri, and Jajpur during the next two hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
