Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Tuesday issued a nowcast warning for 19 districts of Odisha till 4.40 pm.
Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Boudh, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jagatsingpur, Kendrapada, Puri, Angul and Dhenkanal during the next three hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
