Rain To Continue In Odisha’s Twin Cities; Thunderstorm Alert For Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain for nine districts of Odisha.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Kendrapada, Jajpur and Sundargarh in the next 3 hours till 6 pm.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.

Earth Network has also issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for Kutra, Baragaon, Subdega and Balisankara blocks of Sundargarh district within 3.49 pm.
