Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a nowcast warning for three districts of Odisha till 5 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Gajapati during the next two hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
