Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a nowcast warning for 10 districts of Odisha till 3.40 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara during the next three hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
