Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a nowcast warning for 13 districts of Odisha, till 1 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm is likely in some parts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Balasore, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam. Gajapati, Kandhmal, Kalahandi, Koraput and Rayagada.
The IMD has advised people to move into safer places to avoid any possibility of lightning strikes.
