Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a nowcast warning for 10 districts of Odisha till 7 pm on Friday.
Light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Balasore, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Boudh and Sonepur in the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a close watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
