Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a nowcast warning for 17 districts of Odisha till 5 pm.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is likely in Dhenkanal, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Boudh, Puri, Kencrapada and Jajpur during the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to avoid lightning strikes.
