Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a nowcast warning for 21 Odisha districts till 5.10 pm.
As per the forecast, light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh and Boudh districts during the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a close watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
