Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a nowcast warning for seven districts of Odisha till 3.05 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda(including Bhubaneswar city), Ganjam, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Bhadrak, and Dhenkanal during the next three hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes and to avoid movement as poor visibility and traffic disruption is likely to occur.
