Bhubaneswar: Rain of varied intensity is likely to lash 16 districts of Odisha,, including Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities, on Saturday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 1.30 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Nayagada, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Kataka (including Kataka city), Jajpur, Kendunjar, Mayurbhanj, Anugola, Debagada and Sundaragada during next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
