Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department on Wednesday issued a nowcast warning for eight districts of Odisha till 5.40 pm.
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm with lightning is likely in some parts of Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Balasore, Deogarh and Ganjam during the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
