Bhubaneswar: Several places in Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorm till 7.40 pm, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday
The forecast is Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Angul, Nabarangapur, Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Boudh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, Sonepur, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Deogarh.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
