Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 13 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack city and pilgrim town of Puri, till 3 pm on Thursday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning may occur in some parts of Puri (including Puri town), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Boudh, Deogarh, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kenderapada, Bhadrak and Koraput districts within 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
