Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thundershower and lightning is likely to lash several parts Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities till 1 pm on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 10 am, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Khurda and Cuttack districts. Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning may occur in these districts including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities in next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
