Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall in five districts of Odisha.
The Meteorological Centre had forecast heavy rainfall in the districts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh and Jharsuguda during the next 24 hours.
The next two days, September 24-25 will remain mostly dry, said the Met Centre. However, it has forecast more rains from September 25 in the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur atone or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
On September 26, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, and Ganjam are likely to experience heavy rainfall at one or two places.
Thunderstorm with lightning are also likely to strike at one or two places in the districts of Nuapada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Gajapati.
