Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has denied her involvement with HotShots app that her husband, Raj Kundra, allegedly used to stream porn films.
According to media reports, Shilpa told Mumbai Crime Branch that she was not aware of the exact content of HotShots.
She said this after a Crime Branch team raided the Juhu residence of Shilpa and Kundra on Friday evening.
Shilpa defended her husband by claiming that he was not involved in producing porn content. She also mentioned that erotica is different from porn.
At the same time, the actress pointed fingers at Kundra’s brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi for running the app and being responsible for its operations.
After the case came to light, Shilpa had resigned from her husband’s Viaan Industries and stepped away from her involvement in ongoing entertainment projects, including a TV reality show and a under-production film.
