Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Wednesday announced stricter restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus in the state.
Come April 16, night curfew will be imposed in all major cities, and will be in place till April 30.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had earlier clamped night curfew in nine cities — Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Abu Road.
“In Udaipur, night curfew will be effective from 6 pm to 6 am,” the government order said.
Rajasthan recorded 6,200 fresh COVID-positive cases and 29 deaths in the last 24 hours.
