Bhubaneswar: Odia movie ‘Raati Sari Sari Jauchi’ has bagged eight nominations at the Rajasthan Film Festival.
“Now that’s a surprise! 8 Nominations for our film Raati Sari Sari Jauchi in Rajasthan Film Festival. Congrats Team! Really hope this film soon finds a proper platform!” Anupam Patnaik, director of the movie, tweeted.
The movie has been nominated for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Film, Best Writer, Best Music Director, Best Singer Male, Best Cinematographer and Best Actress categories.
‘Raati Sari Sari Jauchi’, which released last year, revolves around the love story of a 90s couple who could not marry. They cross paths eight years later, an encounter that changes their lives.
It was Anupam Patnaik’s directional debut in which Raj Rajesh and Riya De played the lead roles. Besides, Raimohan Parida, Jeevan Panda, Nibi, Anindya, Master Sampark Mishra and Sukant Rath were part of the film’s cast.
