Bhubaneswar: The Archery Coach of KIIT and KISS Sports Rajesh Hansdak has been nominated as a member of the “Talent Identification Zonal Committee” for East Zone (Archery) of the Khelo India Identification Programme.
The Khelo India Programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
East Zone Consist of Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and the Uttar Pradesh States.
His roles and responsibilities will include identification of grass-root talent by using appropriate methods and non-competitions, ensure updating of the database on NSRS, and create a ranking of athletes.
