Chennai: Fans on social media wish speedy recovery to veteran actor Rajinikanth, who was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai in the late hours of Monday. According to reports, the actor’s condition is stable. An official medical bulletin is likely to be released by the hospital soon.
He was rushed to hospital after he complained of a stomach pain, an India Today report stated. Sources claimed then actor would undergo an elective procedure today (October 10). The procedure was apparently scheduled earlier.
Taking to X, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin wished Rajinikanth a speedy recovery. His post on X in Tamil loosely translated as reading “I wish my friend Mr Rajinikanth, who has been hospitalised, a speedy recovery.” Film fraternity also expressed concern over his health and wished him recovery.
Actor-politician R Sarath Kumar shared his good wishes as well. “I wish my dear friend Mr Rajinikanth, who has been admitted to the hospital due to sudden illness, to get well soon. I pray that he may soon take up all his duties with full vigour and health,” he wrote in Tamil on X.
