Mumbai: Small screen actor Rohit Roy invited netizens’ wrath after sharing an insensitive joke on superstar Rajinikanth.
Rohit took to social media to have some fun with fans as he posted, “Rajinikant tested +ve for Corona. Corona is now under quarantine.”
It didn’t go down well with fans of superstar Rajinikanth, who brutally trolled Rohit for his insensitive joke during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rohit once again took to Instagram to clear the air and calm down angry netizens.
“Guys chill… don’t be so morose! A joke is a joke.. and sorry I don’t think it’s in bad taste… it’s a typical Rajni sir joke.. and my intention was to make you guys smile.. look at the intention before you start commenting.. at least I didn’t crack a joke to hurt you all like you all are posting messages deliberately to hurt me.”
