Bhadrak: Senior BJP leader and Union Home minister Rajnath Singh will tour Bhadrak district during his day visit to Odisha on Sunday.
Sources in the party said that the Union Minister will arrive in Basudevpur block at 10.30 AM and lay wreath on the Saheed Stambh (martyrs’ pillar) at Irama. From there, he head for the peeth of Goddess Bhadrakali at around 11 AM. After offering prayers, he will address a public meeting at Ranital, on the outskirts of Bhadrak town.
Besides, he will also hold a meeting with booth-level workers and local leaders. Apart from Bhadrak, party workers from Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts will attend the meeting.
The district administration has made elaborate security arrangements for the Union Minister’s visit. A total of 25 platoons of the armed police forces have been deployed to maintain law and order.
