Rajnath Singh, Yogi Adityanath To Visit Odisha This Month

Bhubaneswar: With elections around the corner, the state BJP is trying to make all the right noises by inviting heavyweight leaders to enthuse the workers and campaign for the party in Odisha.

After back-to-back visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh are scheduled to tour the state this month.

While the Yogi Adityanath will attend party programmes at Bhawanipatna and Nachuni in Khurda on February 20, Rajnath Singh will address a public meeting in Bhadrak on February 17, said spokesperson of state BJP Golakh Mohapatra.

“Singh will inspire the grassroots-level party workers to ensure success of BJP’s 120+ mission,” said BJD state unit president Basanta Panda.

Union ministers Giriraj Singh, Ram Kripal Yadav, Mansukh Mandaviya are also expected to visit the state this month. They will attend ‘Mo Ghar Bhajapa Ghar’ at the booth level to intensify door-to-door campaign, he added.

Ram Kripal Yadav will attend party events in Titlagarh and Rourkela on February 14 while Shah will again come calling to the state and attend a meeting in Sambalpur on February 15. He will address party workers of four Lok Sabha constituencies– Dhenkanal, Bargarh, Sambalpur and Sundargarh. This will be Shah’s third visit to Odisha this year. Earlier, he had addressed a public rally at Salepur on January 29 and attended the national convention of BJP Janjati (Scheduled Tribe) Rashtriya Morcha in Puri on February 3.
