Mumbai: Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma has come up with a film titled ‘Coronavirus’ shot during the ongoing lockdown. He released the trailer of this Telugu movie, which is based entirely on the current pandemic.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to applaud RGV for his film on COVID-19.
“The irrepressible Ram Gopal Varma, ‘Ramu’ to many .. ‘Sarkaaar’ to me .. makes an entire film about a family in Lockdown, shot during Lockdown ..Titled : CORONAVIRUS.. perhaps the first film to be made on the virus,”, Big B posted on Twitter.
Talking about the film,
Verma said – “CORONAVIRUS is not a HORROR film. It is about the HORRORS which are inside all of us including our great political leaders and bureaucrat who actually know only as much as us which is just nothing. THE ONLY THING I KNOW IS THAT I KNOW NOTHING”-Socrates.”
In another tweet, he said that the film was shot following all guidelines. “We shot the CORONAVIRUS film in the LOCKDOWN period while strictly following guidelines and this I swear on ESHWAR,ALLAH, JESUS and the GOVERNMENT,” he wrote.
