Ram Murti Devi Garg No More

Bhubaneswar: Ram Murti Devi Garg, mother of Odisha cadre IAS officer Krishan Kumar, passed away early Saturday morning. She was ailing for some time. She was 86 and is survived by 3 sons and 4 daughters.
Born on May 22, 1933, Ram Murti Devi was a very religious woman and used to celebrate every festival without fail, family sources said. Her husband Lakshman Das Garg predeceased her.
She had been staying with her youngest son Krishan, who is currently secretary of works and cooperation departments. Her last rites were performed at Swargadwar in Puri.
